Barbie, More Than 50 Years Old

With the tradition of over than 50 years, it represents every little girls best friend! First Barbie doll was made in 1959 by Ruth Handler. She was watching her daughter Barbara playing with paper dolls as they were grown ups, which was unusual for the time when all of the dolls were made as babies. She suggested the idea to her husband, who was co-founder of the Mattel toy company, and Barbie era began! Barbies full name is Barbara Millicent Roberts. Influence in making Barbie had a German doll called Bild Lili which was a fashion doll produced in the 60’s. Lets see Barbies trough last 50 years!
